Famous Montessori Alumni
It is not only scientific research that backs up Dr Montessori’s theories about education. Numerous well-known and successful people have enjoyed a Montessori background, whether through Montessori Schools or by being home educated using the Montessori method.
Google creators, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, credited much of their success to their Montessori schooling. When TV Personality Barbara Walters asked whether their parents’ being college professors was a factor in their success, they said that, in fact, it was going to a Montessori school that taught them to be self-directed self-starters.
